Wow! Those U16s were fab on Sunday! A mixed U15/U16 Fairlands team played Tiffins at Surrey Sports Park, and after a fairly slow start, got better and better, scoring freely throughout the match. Defensively, the two Gemma’s were great and Harriet played as energetically as ever at GK despite an injured finger. Shooters and Centre Court players were great, although still some work to be done on coming forward for the ball, and working for each others space. Lovely to see a great team spirit! Well done girls. Final score was 26-16 to Fairlands.
